JAKARTA - Wakil Ketua Dewan Pembina Partai Gerindra Hashim Djojohadikusumo mengklarifikasi pemberitaan yang menyebut dirinya melalui Koalisi Merah Putih (KMP) akan menjegal pelantikan Jokowi-JK. Ia mengaku pernyataannya dipelintir sejumlah media dalam negeri.
"Interview saya dengan Wall Street Journal diadakan dalam bahasa Inggris. Terjemahan ke bahasa Indonesia dipelintir oleh sejumlah media dalam negeri," ujarnya kepada Sindonews, Kamis (9/10/2014).
Adik Prabowo Subianto ini meluruskan tidak pernah mengatakan bahwa dirinya akan menghambat pelantikan Presiden terpilih Jokowi.
"Kalau ada alasan kuat seperti referendum untuk Papua atau legalisasi PKI kami akan lawan, saya katakan. Saya tidak pernah mengatakan akan menghambat pelantikan Jokowi," tegasnya.
"Mohon pakai yang bahasa Inggris sebagai acuan. Jangan percaya yang dalam bahasa Indonesia karena telah dimanipulasi," sambungnya.

Hashim Djojohadikusumo, Mr. Subianto’s brother, and their allies have put together a coalition that controls a majority of the seats in parliament and has set out to thwart President-elect Joko Widodo’s agenda even before he takes office Oct. 20.
Known as the Red and White coalition, it could control parliament’s agenda, its committee leadership and the confirmation of major presidential appointments, for years to come.
“Our long-term aim at least for the next five years is to be an active, constructive opposition,” Mr. Djojohadikusumo said in an interview Monday.
“Yes, Mr. Jokowi there is a price to be paid,” he added, referring to Mr. Widodo by his nickname.
Mr. Djojohadikusumo said he is motivated in part by what he sees as Mr. Widodo’s personal betrayal. One of Indonesia’s wealthiest men, Mr. Djojohadikusumo said he was Mr. Widodo’s primary financial campaign backer when he won the Jakarta governorship two years ago.
